A reminder that the November speaker meeting is in the Erskine May Hall. Follow the route to the Quarry Theatre described in the ‘Find us’ section of the website, the EMH is on the right after the Sports Hall and before going through the arch. There are also directions on blue sign posts. L.J.Guise
Wednesday Observing : December 3rd
Our next regular Wednesday observing session is scheduled for December 3rd 7:00-8:30pm depending on the weather. Members will be sent details of any extra sessions by email. L.J.Guise

The forecast looks very promising for tonight. If it is clear the Observatory will be open from 6:45-8:00pm. L.J.Guise

Tonight looks very mixed, there may be some holes but the cloud is moving fast and the breeze is making it feel very cold. Observing 19th or 20th
Our next observing session is scheduled for Wednesday 19th. The weather looks uncertain at the moment, I will post an update on the day. If Wednesday falls through we may be able to offer a session on Thursday 20th instead. Check back here for updates, members will also receive email reminders. L.J.Guise

November Observing
The observatory will be closed on November 5th because of Fireworks and the Full Moon. It will open on November 12th and 19th 7:00-8:30pm, provided the sky is clear. Other observing opportunities including visits to our dark site will be emailed to members. L.J.Guise
