Observing : Wednesday 11th March
The forecast looks positive for observing tomorrow, if so the observatory will be open 7:00-8:30pm. If it’s clear on March 18th the start time will move later, details to follow. L.J.Guise
4th March Observatory Closed
Sadly cloud here which seems to be getting thicker! No chance of any observing in the short term so I am closing up. L.J.Guise

Sadly cloud has rolled in and I can’t see Jupiter at 18:30. I will review again and post an update here. Very frustrating!

We are hoping for observing tonight 7:00-8:30pm but there is a risk of low cloud returning. L.J.Guise

February 4th Observing
Unfortunately after a bright afternoon cloud has started to spill in from Southeast, it is possible there could be some gaps, but none of the forecasts are very optimistic. We will open the Observatory if there is any clear sky at 7:00pm. Sorry I can’t be more definite! L.J.Guise

There is just a chance of some clear sky in the forecast, if so the observatory will be open from 7:00-8:30pm. I will post an update during the afternoon of the 4th. L.J.Guise
Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th January
We may finally have some clear weather so will put on a couple of extra sessions fitting around other activities. The observatory will be open on Tuesday from 6:45-7:30pm if clear. On Wednesday we will open 5:30-6:30pm if clear, prior to the monthly Speaker Meeting in the Quarry Theatre. L.J.Guise
