M108 and M97

Hi all,

Please see the attached image of M108 and M97, taken on Friday 28th February from Stewartby.
The image is a little over 9 hours of data and has been calibrated but only very quickly processed – I removed some of the noise, sharpened things a little and made it bright enough for viewing. It needs a lot more care and attention to bring out the best of it – work for the coming days….
The image was taken through my Skywatcher Esprit 4″ refractor with a ZWO ASI 533 One Shot Colour camera. Each exposure was 5 minutes long, and I processed it in |Pixinsight.
One thing I love to do with my images is to zoom in and see how many small background galaxies you can see – give it go, you may be surprised!!
