Observing sessions restart this week but unfortunately the forecast for Wednesday is very poor. Monday 18th looks a much better prospect and if it is clear we will open to members of the society and the school from 8:30-10:00pm.
Anyone that follows BAS on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) should still get direct notifications. The BAS website will soon carry weather updates via ‘Threads’ in a little window, as it used to with Twitter, but this will not be in place for Monday. I will post information in the ‘Latest News’ section of the website with a weather update around 7:00pm.
You can of course adopt the old method of opening the curtain, taking a peek out, and if it’s clear we will be observing.
Watch out for another possible session on Saturday, although it is hard to put too much trust in the long range forecast at present.Linton
