Observing report : Friday 20th Sept

> A clear evening and some excellent views of planets and deep space objects. Around 20 members and guests from as far a field as Peterborough and Milton Keynes attended. I promised a list of the objects viewed for those that wanted to look up images and read more about them, so along with Saturn and Jupiter :
> Messier (M) 57 The ring nebula in Lyra
M27 The Dumbbell nebula
> M13 Globular Cluster in Hercules
> M15 Globular Cluster in Pegasus
> The Owl or ET open cluster in Cassiopeia
> The Double Cluster in Perseus
> M31 Andromeda Galaxy
> Albireo in Cygnus a coloured double star, no longer thought to be binary according to the latest data but a stunning sight nevertheless!
