BAA Deep Sky Section Meeting - April 22nd 2018

BAS are delighted to announce that, alongside Bedford School, we will be hosting the Annual Meeting for the BAA Deep Sky Section!
Please note that yes - this meeting is being held on Sunday April 22nd. Doors open from 10:00. Meeting will close around 17:15.
Speakers confirmed so far:
- Nick Hewitt - Variable Nebulae
- John McCue - Double star observing
- Alan Snook - Visual observing the Arp Catalogue
- Paul Downing - Astro imaging
- Dr. Matt Bothwell - University of Cambridge - ‘Monsters in the Dark: hunting for the Universe’s most extreme galaxies'
Booking information
Advance booking is required for this meeting. You can do this by:
- Booking through the BAA online shop
- Contacting the BAA office on 0207 734 4145 (staffed 9am to 5pm, Mon-Fri)
The price is £6 for members, members of Bedford AS, and members of affiliated societies. The price is £10 for non-members. This includes refreshments throughout the day and lunch.
